Coastal Women’s Forum Annual Meeting & Hat Social is getting racy – as in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and the Belmont Stakes.  

As at any CWF event, the focus is on networking and socializing, but this one is also an opportunity for lavish displays of head topping creativity.

Hat contest categories are:

Triple Crown - A hat decorated with Red Roses, Black Eyed Susans, and White Carnations

Belmont Beauty - A stunning bonnet that makes you wish it was yours

Horse Feathers - Something absolutely silly

Secretariat - Homage to the woman behind the keyboard

Get the Message? - An interpretation of a horse or horse head (...Remember The Godfather?)

President’s Cup - The hat and the silks (outfit) match perfectly

We are also adding horse racing to the event with the pot to be split between Win, Place, and Show. Entry is $1 for each mount. Horses will be supplied, jodhpurs are not necessary; hats are expected but not required for those who shy away from chapeaus.
